A positive and country-loving Nanny is required for a family of four near Thornbury.
The family is welcoming and relaxed and would love to find a Nanny looking for a long-term position to become an integral part of their family home. The ideal candidate will be fun, engaging, and enthusiastic to join in with different activities with the children and is used to country life. They live in a rural location in a farmhouse with a large garden and an orchard and have a friendly dog. As parents, they like to encourage independence in the children; communication is key, talking to the children about boundaries and feelings. They are an open and honest family and are looking for someone to support their busy home and keep the children grounded.
The children are 11 and 9; they both love their sport. The 11-year-old enjoys hockey and is musical, while the 9-year-old enjoys football. They both like to play table tennis and be outdoors, so a nanny who is happy to join in with these interests is key. Your duties will include helping with school runs, as both children attend school in Bristol, so a driver with their own car is essential. All childcare duties are expected, and when the children are at school, they would like you to keep on top of the family laundry, run errands, do grocery shopping, plan and prep meals, maybe some batch cooking, keep the house tidy and organized, walk the dog, and gardening if this is something you are interested in.
