JOB ROLE: Cook
LOCATION: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire
SALARY: £24,960 - £26,416* (This rate is effective as of 1st April - if you start prior to this date, your hourly rate will be £26,208 - £27,664 and will be automatically uplifted on 1st April)
We are seeking an enthusiastic committed professional to join us as an Cook
The successful candidate will:
· Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen and other designated areas throughout the house
· Maintaining high standards of hygiene by adhering to company policies and procedures including HACCP and COSHH
· Other duties involved will be food preparation (well-balanced dinners adhering to dietary and allergy requirements), completing and updating menu sheets, stock control, regular checks and monitoring or upkeep of appliances
Our ideal candidate will have:
· A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
· Have experience of working in a school environment, preferred but not necessary
· This vacancy is open to a specialist with Food Hygiene Qualifications or Equivalent
