Amazon Devices is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will help develop and execute comprehensive brand and marketing campaigns to drive awareness and sales for Echo products. You will be working closely with global and local marketing, site merchandising and advertising teams across Amazon to ensure your product category reaches its maximum potential, both on and off site. Our ideal candidate will have extensive sales and brand marketing experience, be able to analyze sales data and customer insights to propose marketing campaigns, and have experience supporting demand for a business or category. You must be comfortable working both at the planning level and diving deep into implementation as needed (including writing business requirements and analyzing data). You will show hustle and help foster a high-energy, high-performance culture.
Key job responsibilities
1. Support the development and execution of comprehensive Sales and Marketing campaigns to help drive brand awareness and product demand.
2. Analyze market data, consumer insights, and sales performance to identify opportunities and support demand generation decision-making by leadership.
3. Support the full marketing mix, collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to help achieve sales objectives.
4. Support development and reporting on key performance metrics to demonstrate brand impact to Echo sales.
A day in the life
As a Marketing Manager, your days are fast-paced and filled with diverse responsibilities as you work to support growth and increase visibility for your product portfolio. We operate with a Day 1 mindset, each and every day. There is no playbook for how smart speakers should or could be sold in any country. You will help Amazon Echo smart speakers make their way into as many customers' homes. You will help develop campaigns to promote our products, target new and different customer segments, and you will collaborate with global teams to ensure our products continue to exceed customer expectations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. 3+ years of product management experience.
2. Experience managing technical products or online services.
3. Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level.
2. Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization.
