As the Lead Teacher for Science, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality curriculum intent and implementation across the Science Faculty. Your focus will be on delivering outstanding teaching that directly impacts student progress and attainment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Development: Assist in developing syllabuses, resources, and teaching strategies that enhance student achievement.
2. Teaching Excellence: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons, modelling best practices and using data to track progress and inform interventions.
3. Staff Leadership: Inspire and mentor colleagues to improve their teaching practices, fostering a culture of continuous professional development.
4. Strategic Improvement: Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to implement policies and practices that drive student success.
