Technical Services Team Manager
Excellent basic salary Neg DOE plus 10% OTE Bonus, Quality car, Pension etc. Home/Office based.
Our client provides a wide range of electrical based products and solutions including lighting, switchgear, control & automation, upgrades, and projects and has access to a class leading range of suppliers and supplier relationships. Reporting to the Head of Projects, the successful candidate will manage a team of direct reports and liaise with and receive further support and inflow of enquiries from an external sales team. Along with your team and other internal technical resources, your role will be to evaluate the profitable feasibility of potential projects, and then project manage and deliver those going forward.
The company is based in the East Midlands area, with some home office time and the majority at office or customer sites. Suitable locations could be Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Coventry, Northamptonshire, Cambridge, and Peterborough to commute to the office when required.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the Technical Services team.
2. Lead and mentor a team of application specialists.
3. Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of projects.
4. Provide technical guidance and support to the team and customers.
5. Serve as point of contact for Key Customers/Major Projects.
6. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
7. Monitor service quality and client satisfaction.
8. Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, customer service, and profitability.
9. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

1. High level of commercial and technical ability.
2. Proven experience managing a team and a people-first attitude to leadership.
3. Microsoft 365 proficient.
4. Entrepreneurial attitude.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Strong organizational skills.
8. Must hold a full UK driving license.
9. Must be eligible to work in the UK.
