We are seeking a skilled and motivated Buyer-Planner to join our client's operations team in Runcorn. The role focuses on procurement, supply continuity, inventory management, and cost optimization within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Purchase goods, materials, and services in line with cost, quality, and delivery targets.
* Ensure continuous supply of required materials and proactively resolve potential supply issues.
* Manage NPI shortages and quote components.
* Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
* Monitor market trends and supplier performance.
* Deliver reports, updates, and briefings as needed.
* Lead standard operating procedures (SOP) and process improvements.
* Handle customs-related queries.
* Create KPI files and report to the customer.
* Act as first-level escalation point for customer support.
Required Skills and Experience:
* 2–3 years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proactive, independent, and customer-oriented.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Familiarity with MRO components and customs practices is an advantage.
* Fluent in English, written and spoken.
* Relevant qualification in Supply Chain or related field.
