We are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Infrastructure team located on the A47 / A11 Thickthorn, Norwich. You will successfully manage a project commercial delivery team, project finances and contractual obligations internally and externally, including all subcontract packages as a member of the Project Management Team within prescribed financial margins of the project to the satisfaction of internal and external clients and within the company's financial targets.
What you'll do:
* Understand business core objectives
* Create / maintain networking opportunities
* Understand current and future market conditions
* Implement a commercial strategy that sets challenging financial targets that achieve the best case gross project margin. (Outperform Targets). Be able to articulate how these targets have been assessed and how they can be achieved.
* Understand the impact of variations on critical path.
* Assess EOT entitlement for Skanska and assess objectively sub contractor EOT entitlement
What you'll bring to the role:
* Experience working on large projects £150m+.
* Good working knowledge of contract/commercial law
* Experience with NEC forms of contract
* MRICS or CICES desirable
* Degree or equivalent in commercial related subject
