Complex Needs Learning Support Workers Full-time roles Monday-Friday 8:30am - 3:15pm Special schools We're working closely with a number of special schools in the Melksham area that have various roles available from after half term. These schools are a mixture of SEMH & more complex needs schools looking after students aged 4-16. The schools ideally require staff who are available on a full-time basis, so this is 5 days a week on a long-term basis (but with short days). The role The role of LSW involves general classroom support as well as 1-1 support while working closely with colleagues in providing support outside of the classroom. Due to the needs of the students (SEMH, ASD, Complex Needs, SLD, MLD) it is essential that you have worked with special needs in some capacity. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced support workers who have been looking to make the switch to working in schools.
