Role Overview
The key responsibility of the Sales Floor Manager is to mentor a team of high-performing Business Development Consultants (BDCs) in achieving success in outbound campaigns.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Swinton office, working Monday to Thursday in the office and Friday from home.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure team targets are achieved.
2. Develop SMART KPIs to drive team performance.
3. Identify new opportunities and targeted outbound campaigns.
4. Responsible for the outbound team results.
5. Develop account-based campaign strategies.
6. Collaborate with the Senior Sales Manager to ensure consistent team performance.
7. Conduct call listening sessions to improve training and performance.
8. Liaise with the Senior Sales Manager on coaching goals and reporting.
9. Design and implement individual coaching plans.
10. Hold regular 1-2-1 meetings to set objectives and tactics.
11. Assist with training events and team training sessions.
12. Report on performance and analyze business trends.
13. Utilize CRM dashboards to monitor and drive performance.
14. Manage team performance issues through appropriate procedures.
Skills & Experience
Person Specification:
* Knowledge of CRM systems and performance optimization.
* Passion for driving team performance and accountability.
* Proven experience in goal setting and team achievement.
* Experience in outbound sales environments.
Additional Skills & Experience:
* Tenacity and persistence in prospecting, with a track record in cold calling.
* Experience managing an appointment-setting team.
* Strong sector knowledge and competitor awareness.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in outbound business development.
* Understanding of lead qualification and sales/marketing software (e.g., HubSpot, Sugar, MS Office).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
