Salary: Grade 8: £32,662 - £36,239 per annum Grade 9: £38,653 - £42,728 per annum Benefits: 29 days annual leave increasing to 34 after 5 years of service. Responsibilities: Manage a caseload, conducting holistic, strengths-based assessments with adults, carers, and families. Enable informed choices and decisions, helping individuals clarify and express their needs. Manage risk and contribute to service planning. Provide concise, factual, and informative written/verbal records and reports. Offer evidence in court in relation to care or other proceedings (with support and guidance where necessary on complex cases). Utilise evidence-based practice and strengths-based conversations to identify needs and take appropriate action. Promote independence and reduce risks for adults with social care needs living in Doncaster. Undertake cases, assessing and managing risks appropriately. Support and encourage Community Led Support. Provide peer support to colleagues, advice and guidance to Assessment Officers, new employees, and student Social Workers. Qualifications and Skills: Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England. Experience in conducting assessments and managing caseloads. Knowledge of relevant legislation and social care practices. Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
