Overview
We are seeking an experienced Customer Account Manager to provide direct support and services to our IT customer base. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and previous account management/sales experience covering IT Services including Microsoft products, hosted telephony systems, software solutions, and project management. This role requires an individual who can effectively communicate with both technical teams and non-technical customers, providing account management directly to our customers around the North East of England.
Duties
1. Manage smaller IT projects from conception to completion, dealing with the technical teams to ensure they are delivered on time and within scope.
2. Manage and assist a range of customers to analyse their technology needs and provide appropriate solutions.
3. Communicate directly with customers to understand their requirements and provide updates on project progress.
4. Manage contract renewals and Microsoft, Anti-Virus renewals.
5. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements to our customers.
6. Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure optimal service delivery.
Skills
1. Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Products and Licenses.
2. Knowledge of IT products and services.
3. Previous experience with Hosted Telephony products and services.
4. The ability to manage IT projects and delivery with the technical team.
5. Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
6. Previous experience in the industry in a similar role.
7. A solid understanding of sales processes and how technology can enhance sales effectiveness.

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
