We have a great new opportunity for a Reporting and Demand Analyst to join the Core IT team in our CIO directorate!
In this key role within Core IT, working with the Demand Lead in Productivity & Performance, you'll play a huge part in supporting Core IT Delivery Teams and handling meaningful Reporting & Communications.
You'll work closely with department delivery managers, handle admin tasks, and take care of preparing, writing, reviewing, and tracking Small Works assignments, including their allocation and prioritisation, as well as supporting the front door engagement processes across Core IT. It will be up to you to provide insight into upcoming demand requirements & acts as liaison point between the delivery organisation & the operational teams.
You will help keep Core IT's performance reporting on track by pulling together data from different sources to maintain a complete end-to-end dashboard while helping set and track goals and important metrics for both individuals and the team as a whole.
You'll lead productivity improvements by bringing in new methods and tools to boost delivery performance, as well as own all continuous improvement efforts, working closely with the Governance, Process, and Auditing leads across the team.
The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience:
* Previous demonstrable experience in a similar productivity, performance and demand role within a complex environment
* Solid understanding of Jira & Confluence with exposure or use of reporting tools (i.e. MicroStrategy, OBIEE, Tableau etc.)
* Proven experience running and improving processes in a complex, fast-paced development environment (Six Sigma is a plus!).
* A strong understanding of the software development life cycle (including liaising with stakeholders at all levels of the business)
* Experience in working within governance frameworks

* Project Management and/or Lean Qualifications e.g. PRINCE II/Six Sigma Brown Belt
* Experience in effectively collaborating with team members and is persuasive, credible and able to enthuse people who don't work directly for you
* Strong critical thinking and data manipulation skills
* Experience working in a Technology focused department
