Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childminding Assistant to provide exceptional care for children in a loving and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills. This role is perfect for someone with experience in childcare, particularly in early childhood education settings, who is eager to create a positive impact in the lives of young learners.
Responsibilities
1. Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
2. Manage daily routines, including meal preparation, nap times, and playtime.
3. Communicate effectively with both children and parents to ensure a harmonious environment.
4. Drive children to and from school or activities as required.
5. Assist with paperwork as needed.
6. Maintain a safe and clean environment for the children at all times.
7. Assist with homework and educational activities to support their learning journey.
8. Provide emotional support and guidance to foster confidence and independence in children.
Qualifications
1. Previous experience working with children, preferably in a nursery or similar setting.
2. Knowledge of early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
3. Strong leadership skills to effectively manage children's behaviour and activities.
4. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
5. A genuine love for children and a commitment to their well-being and development.
6. Driving licence is an advantage.
