Act as the Registered Manager in their absence. Safeguard and promote the welfare of young people, ensuring their needs are recognised and met. Provide a safe and supportive environment for young people, free from discrimination. Lead, plan, and manage shifts to ensure children are engaged and safe throughout the day. Build and maintain strong working relationships with families, social workers, schools, and other professionals. Oversee and contribute to the development of care plans and case files. Promote and support young people’s education, ensuring attendance and engagement. What We’re Looking For: At least 2 years’ experience in support work, with supervisory experience preferred. Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People (or equivalent). Strong communication skills and a positive, welcoming attitude. Commitment to delivering a high standard of care and working effectively as part of a team. A full UK driving licence is desirable. Ability to relocate or reliably commute to Tilbury is essential.
