1. As an Assembly build Planner, you will ensure daily production meets customer requirements, plan & create daily build sequences and proactively adjust the production plan to changes in customer requirements, assembly facility, quality and Material/Part supply.
2. Manage activities such as engine rework, Press, Blocked, Pre-series and force launches and coordinate in/outfeed plan, to ensure optimal cost and operation of the Automated Finished Engine store.
3. Plan and Action customer despatch, including re-orders, overseeing availability of bought out parts and machiningponents to support assembly production.
4. Establish priorities through customer order controllers, react to agreed actions and prioritise customer requirements in line with assembly constraints.
5. Manage data accuracy of SAP/SCM (including Ageing and open orders) and suggest further development to Assembly Build Control System.
6. Plan, cost and manage all assembly and machining stockpiling activity including optimising re/decant activities.
7. Review SAP/SCM for deviation from lead times and establish the impact on customer despatch requirements.
8. Co-ordinate returns from customers and customer point of contact during out of office hours.

9. Possess an Engineering / Logistics related qualification to HNC level.
10. Good understanding of Logistics and Manufacturing operations is required.
11. Previous production control or similar background experience
12. Extensive use of IT & Logistics systems is also required.
13. Data analysis, interpretation and presentation
14. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment coupled with flexibility to work shifts and weekends when required
