We’re looking for a positive, enthusiastic and resourceful individual to join our Commercial Services team as the Sales Support Executive.

What is involved in this role?
As a Sales Support Executive, you will focus on assisting the company’s commercial services functions. You’re resourceful, goal-oriented and possess deep knowledge of distribution and vendor ordering processes. You have exceptional organisation skills, a great eye for detail and you’re a tenacious professional, dedicated to supporting all aspects of the sales function.
You will report to the Head of Sales.
Responsibilities
1. Focus on providing commercial services support for both new and existing opportunities with mid-market and enterprise customers.
2. Meet or exceed individual and team quarterly key performance indicators (KPI’s), in-line with company-wide strategic objectives.
3. Provide excellent customer experience by maintaining high standards, ensuring proper use of a customer-centric approach and representing the values of Forfusion at all times.
4. Ensure quotation generation is completed accurately and on time.
5. Understand and implement compliance with vendor incentives and rebates programmes to maximise company profit and remain competitive in the marketplace.
6. Engage with back-office, operations and procurement to ensure systems, processes and procedures are as robust and streamlined as possible.
7. Engage with distribution and technology partners to ensure timely turnaround of quotations and to effectively manage customer expectations.
8. Provide excellent customer communications to support Senior Account Managers and Business Development Managers in the development of opportunities.
9. Keep CRM and all related systems up to date with activities, tasks, and opportunities to ensure information is available for reporting purposes and for management and peers access.
Requirements

2. Meticulous attention to detail and due diligence in all aspects of working engagements, including adherence to company-wide processes and procedures.
3. Well organised, able to prioritise multiple work streams and has the common sense to escalate when workloads may pose a risk to customer engagements and opportunities.
4. Demonstrate a clear ability to listen and take in new information, able to interpret instructions from peers and management to ensure work streams are carried out successfully.
5. Able to work well under pressure, doesn't get flustered and has a clear understanding of their own abilities.
6. Able to think for yourself and challenge peers and customers when required to ensure the correct business outcomes.
7. Strong communication skills and stakeholder relationships.
8. Solid understanding of vendor and distribution ordering tools and processes.
9. Customer-service oriented with a strong problem-solving attitude.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software as well as other back-office systems that are required to support and facilitate the end-to-end sales and marketing process.
Experience
1. 2+ years achieving or exceeding individual targets working in a sales support role.
2. 2+ years undertaking tasks supporting Senior Account Managers, managing run-rate business, creating basic bill of materials and applying incentives programmes.
3. Exceptional Customer Service capability.
4. Strong relationship management experience; ability to interact with people at all levels of the business with the confidence to influence and negotiate, including with customers.
5. Desired familiarity with Cisco technologies and services around networking, security, data centre and collaboration.
Desirable Industry Certifications
1. Higher National Diploma (or equivalent)
Bachelors Degree (2:1 minimum in a relevant subject)
