We are looking for an experienced Marine Civil Engineer to join an Irish Maritime team. Based in Dublin, Cork, Galway, or Limerick, the role involves supporting a wide range of engineering projects across European and global markets, working in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop designs for maritime structures, flood defenses, and coastal protection from initial concept to construction.
* Conduct risk assessments for coastal erosion and flood hazards, incorporating climate change impacts.
* Prepare project documentation, including technical reports and tender responses.
* Provide guidance to junior engineers and manage task delegation to support project timelines.
* Coordinate with teams to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in civil or marine engineering, or a related discipline.
* At least 4 years of experience in areas such as port and harbor engineering, dredging, reclamation, metocean studies, coastal protection, or renewable energy projects.
* Strong team collaboration skills and proactive problem-solving abilities.
* Familiarity with coastal risk mapping, modeling tools, or GIS is preferred.
* Experience in Irish or UK markets and additional European language skills is beneficial.
