Job Title: Interim Payroll Advisor
Location: Peterborough / Hybrid option
Contract and Shift details: 6 month Fixed Term Contract (Part-time or Full-time)
Are you a payroller seeking your next opportunity? Are you immediately available and ready to take on a new contract? Due to exciting continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Payroll Advisor to join our team on a 6 months fixed term contract to ensure a robust and flawless monthly payroll service is provided and customer expectations are met.
What you'll be doing:
* Responsible for own payroll from start to finish.
* Prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines and service levels are met.
* Provide administrative support to colleagues and other teams.
* Support the UK Payroll Manager in systems upgrade testing and payroll system maintenance.
* Ensure HMRC RTI submissions are accurate, completed and submitted within timescales.
* Work closely with UK Payroll Manager to ensure tax year end reporting to HMRC, closure of old tax year and setting up payroll for new tax year.
* Produce regular and ad-hoc reports.
* Administer reconciliation of flexible benefit scheme, gain approval and instruct Finance re payment.
* Answer queries and be technical expert on payroll for key customers and stakeholders.
What you'll bring:
* Ability to manage priorities, resolve problems and escalate issues within a busy working environment.
* Experience of working in a volume end-to-end payroll environment and meeting deadlines.
* Highly numerate with proficient analytical skills.
* Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
* Experience of a computerised payroll system.
* Sound up-to-date knowledge of payroll and experience of using MS Office, Word and Excel.
* Ability to anticipate and resolve potential issues and prioritise workloads when facing tight deadlines.

Location: This position is connected to our Head Office in Peterborough, where our team meets on a Thursday each week and we'd love for you to attend the office too.
