Job Description Make your mark as a Geotechnical Operator at Gardline The advertised role will involve the mobilisation, maintenance, deployment/recovery and operation of our range of Geotechnical equipment. This equipment includes the Neptune 5000 CPT system, Roson CPT's of various thrust capacitates and various Piston corers and Vibrocores. The successful applicant will undertake this role worldwide across the Gardline survey fleet and complete all requirements in a safe and proficient manner. Your responsibilities: To include but not limited to: Mobilisation & demobilisation of equipment. Review risk assessment & procedures and amend accordingly and follow as needed, feeding back any changes that occur as introduced. Acquire high quality geotechnical data and execute geotechnical operations in accordance to field procedures and acquire geotechnical data in line with operating parameters of equipment. Set up and maintain geotechnical equipment to always maximize serviceability at all times. Provide status reports and adhere to company fault reporting procedures and execute Geotechnical field-testing using computer software Assist in the data and paperwork collation for return to office. Assist in preparation and set up equipment prior to mobilisation. Attend mobilisation and demobilisation meetings as required. Expectation of providing in-field training to new joiners. To lead and co-ordinate the Geotechnical team onboard.
