Our client is a leading global manufacturer in the building products and concrete products manufacturing industry. They are currently recruiting for an Asphalt Plant Manager to oversee day-to-day operations.
Role & Responsibilities:
Overseeing a team of 4 on-site
Managing contractors
Mechanical fault-finding and repairs
Ensure all maintenance plans and documentation is up to date
Ensure health & Safety standards are met at all times.
Optimising production output and KPI management
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Must have at least 3 years experience as an Asphalt Plant Manager
People management experience is essential
NEBOSH certificate would be beneficial but can be obtained on the job
Engineering apprenticeship or similar engineering qualification
Knowledge of maintenance scheduling
Strong mechanical fault finding & servicing skills
Knowledge of mixer, shovel and weighbridge operations
Good time management, problem solving skills and attention to detail
