Interim Senior Finance Officer job (Hybrid) with an exciting Glasgow based charity for an initial 6-month period. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for: Assisting with the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts Preparing monthly balance sheet control accounts for approval Key monthly journal entries Preparing accurate and timeous monthly budget holder reports as directed and effectively resolve any queries Assisting in the preparation of the year end accounts and appropriate audit files Assisting in annual budget input Supporting with the implementation of the new accounting software, developing new processes and training staff within external departments Assisting with management and development of the Finance Team, supporting staff members in achieving their potential and best performance Ad hoc duties as required The Individual: Part Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills whilst dealing with non-financial departments Good systems knowledge and highly proficient in Excel Charity experience desirable but not essential On offer is a salary up to £35,000 p.a. or day rate equivalent.
