Scholars School System is a project of UK CURRICULUM & ACCREDITATION BODY (UKCAB, a registered charity founded in 2006) having campuses across the United Kingdom which includes Birmingham, Manchester, London, Bradford and Leicester is looking for a Business Lecturer with HE experience.
Scholars School System is a national independent higher education provider, offering world-class education. Taught programs, ranging from Foundation Year through to Level 7, delivered in partnership with institutions such as Leeds Trinity University. Over 5000 (UK and EU) learners have completed their learning journey in the last five years with the current student population being over 3000.

Job Overview:
Scholars School System is seeking to appoint a Lecturer to support the provision of the Business Management curriculum at undergraduate and postgraduate level, with a strong emphasis on teaching, learning and related activities to support student academic experience.
Responsibilities
1. With oversight from the Head of Department and Year Lead, manage all aspects of student academic journey, including maintaining accurate student records and overall student progression.
2. Contribute through module and / or course leadership to maintain quality and achieve academic excellence.
3. Contribute to the assessment process, for students including marking and moderation of work individually or collectively as part of a team in accordance with quality assurance procedures.
4. Contribute to the design and development of innovative, inclusive and inspiring resources including e-learning.
5. Act as a personal academic tutor where required in supporting individual learner progress.
6. Ensure that all teaching, learning and assessment activities meet the requirements of SSS quality assurance processes and external quality standards.
7. Promote innovation and excellence in student education maximizing the benefits of digital and other resources to support learning, with a focus on student partnership.
8. Work with professional services staff and attend meetings as requested to enhance the student journey.
9. Carry out academic administrative duties and participate in relevant committees as required.
10. Ensure that teaching is informed by contemporary research, scholarship, knowledge exchange, professional practice and develop the ability of students to engage in debate, critical discourse and thinking.
11. Where appropriate, undertake research, scholarship, knowledge transfer and dissemination through publication.
12. Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the role; participate in appropriate training activities.
13. Play an integral role in the promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion where students are valued and have a sense of belonging.

Requirements
1. Essential:
2. Masters’ degree in Business Management or business-related field.
3. UK Teaching Experience (Minimum 12 months experience).
4. PGCert / Fellowship in FHCA Status (Highly Desirable).
5. Enthusiasm for delivering a high-quality education experience.
6. A record of leading a successful program development thought leadership in educational pedagogy.
7. Experience supervising student work, marking, assessment, and providing support and feedback.
8. Experience working with professional services to enhance student learning.
9. Previous experience in course leadership, and module leadership is desirable.
10. Proficiency in using different technologies to deliver teaching and learning.
11. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including an ability to express ideas clearly both verbal and written.
12. Excellent organisational, project, and time management skills.
13. Ability to think creatively and with vision and the willingness to suggest and try new and creative approaches to problems.
14. Ability to educate and engage students effectively.
15. Demonstrated leadership qualities within an academic setting.
16. Proficient in English language, both spoken and written.

Salary and Benefits
1. £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year (depending on qualifications and experience).
2. Basic hours are 9 am to 6 pm on site.
3. Trips away from the office are often required.
4. Holiday entitlement is 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
5. Up to £5k annual incentives pro-rata given quarterly on meeting KPIs upon successful probation period.
6. 3% annual increase per year on completion from your start date of service and on meeting KPIs.
