Your new role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement manager to join the management team to continue the delivery of their well-established procurement function. You will be reporting into Chief Operating Officer (COO). This role will offer you a scope to lead on procurement projects, including managing and overseeing all the tendering activity and engaging with and supporting our managers with the procurement of products and services aligned to our social value and procurement strategies.
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience as a Procurement Manager or Category Manager or similar position.
* Be proficient with handling data and data analysis.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Influencing and negotiation skills.
* Self-starter who is driven and determined to develop their procurement career.
* Ideally, you should be CIPS qualified or working towards the qualification and have experience of leading on tender processes, advising on procurement matters in a commercially focused organisation, and be able to own the continuous improvement of the procurement function.
