Role Summary
The Proposition Lead will sit within the Client Project Delivery team and is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the EQ proposition for undertaking GMP Equalisation on behalf of EQRS’s clients.
The role holder will work very closely with Programme and Project delivery teams to support definition of client and scheme-specific deliverables, defining and estimating the requirement for successful delivery. They will also act as the EQRS GMPE subject matter expert, supporting client discussions and being a leading voice in the Pensions Administration industry.
Please note this is an 18 month fixed term contract role.
Core Duties/Responsibilities
* Represent EQ as the GMPE SME, working with clients to establish the required approach.
* Establish the EQ Go to market and implementation approaches and how our core platforms support this.
* Supporting implementations through a series of client-specific engagements, delivered in a consistent fashion and utilising offshore resource where possible.
* Establish solutions to address the different approaches required for addressing GMPE.
* Understand the EQRS administration platforms and work closely with Product Managers and owners to design and implement a standard, repeatable framework for delivering GMPE solutions.
* Improve profitability of future GMPE engagements.
Skills, Knowledge, Capabilities and Attributes
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviours:
* GMP Knowledge | An understanding of how requirements vary from Client to Client based on:
o the outcome clients want to achieve.
o the specific method clients are adopting for Equalisation and how to handle specific scenarios.
o whether clients have chosen to use a third-party or for EQ to lead the work.
o clients’ current administration operating model.
o the data clients hold and how their calculations are structured.
o where clients are on their GMPR journey.
* Commercial | How differing approaches impact Project costs and on-going Administration costs and (with support) can quantify this.
* Our platforms | The platform solution EQ has built.
* Experience of working within Actuarial disciplines (ideally an Actuary or part-qualified Actuary with SME level GMPE knowledge).
