Our charity shops play a crucial role in raising funds to help us deliver care and to support local people. We are currently seeking a Shop Assistant to join our Stoke Shop team - You will work alongside the Manager, Deputy Manager, Supervisors and our numerous Volunteers.
Customer Service experience is essential within our local community environment. You will play a vital role in supporting our shops daily operations, you will have the skills to help generate the money needed for the hospice to support out local people.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service and ensure high standards are maintained
* Assist in sorting, pricing, and displaying donations to maximize sales
* Handle transactions and operate the till confidently and accurately
About You
We’re looking for someone with a flexible approach, a can-do attitude, and a willingness to get involved. No two days are the same, so adaptability and positivity are key! You’ll also need:
* An awareness of price, value and worth of items
* A customer-focused approach and strong communication skills
* Creativity and commercial awareness with visual merchandising skills
* Experience in working towards targets
