A bit about the event portfolio Breakbulk events are world-leading shows in the project cargo and breakbulk industries. The Breakbulk portfolio is made up of three events located in the Middle East, Europe and America, that are recognised for bringing thousands of companies together to network, connect, and generate new business and strengthen existing relationships. Each offers a platform for industry decision makers to connect and support the completion of global projects. More than just trade shows, all three Breakbulk events offer live content, education days, workshops and additional networking activities to get involved with. Key Responsibilities A bit about the role Accountable for producing and securing agreement on the content plan across your allocated show features. Accountable for speaker recruitment across allocated features. Onsite delivery: managing meticulous on-site execution of content to exceptional standards of customer service, and post-show, review the performance of each content element. Manage Education Day for each Breakbulk event, taking full responsibility for planning, content development, speaker coordination, and on-site execution to ensure a successful and engaging event. Content generation: responsible for conducting a research campaign and analysis of key subject areas and trends. Supporting digital content: Working with the marketing team to develop and commission new pieces of editorial content for digital distribution. LI-DNI Skills Required Key skills and experience we’re looking for: Industry Knowledge: At least 2 years of experience in content production, event programming, or editorial roles within B2B, media, or events sectors. Content Strategy & Planning: Proven ability to develop and manage content plans for events and conferences. Speaker Recruitment & Relationship Management: Experience identifying, securing, and managing high-profile speakers, fostering strong industry relationships. Onsite delivery: Skilled in overseeing the seamless onsite delivery of content, ensuring high standards of execution and audience engagement. Research & Trend Analysis: Strong ability to conduct in-depth research on industry trends, key topics, and emerging themes to shape content strategies. Content Creation: Exceptional writing and editing skills, with experience writing conference agendas and developing compelling digital content. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, event teams, and external contributors to align content with business goals. Project Management: Strong organisational and time management skills to oversee multiple content streams, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities. Analytical & Performance Review: Experience in evaluating content performance using data-driven insights, refining strategies for continuous improvement. Digital Content & Marketing Support: Familiarity with digital content strategy, working alongside marketing teams to create engaging materials, promoting the conference agenda and speakers for online audiences.
