We are looking for a Finance Commercial Modeler to join our dynamic team and help drive our growth forward. As a Finance Commercial Modeler, you'll take the lead on investment cases, business planning, and financial performance tracking, ensuring rock-solid governance and strategic decision-making. Initially it will be a six-month contract but there is potential for it to be extended. The role is Hybrid, with two days a week being based in their Coventry office. It is a full-time role, 40 hours per week. What You'll Be Doing: ?? Lead Financial Strategy - Develop compelling business cases and financial models for IDNO and ICP bids, using your commercial expertise to influence key decisions. ?? Drive Growth in Batteries - Oversee battery business cases, working closely with the Mergers & Acquisitions team to ensure successful execution. ?? Monitor & Optimise Performance - Track financial KPIs, conduct ROI analyses, and implement cost-control measures to keep projects on track and within budget. ?? Mitigate Risks - Identify potential financial risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies. ?? Establish Reporting Excellence - Implement a robust KPI tracking and reporting framework that enables proactive decision-making. ?? Be the Finance Connector - Act as the bridge between finance and operational teams, providing expert guidance on tax, accounting, treasury, and funding. What We're Looking For: ?
