Senior HR Business Partner
Location: Preston, Lancashire
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
The Role
Our client, a fast-paced commercial business, is currently looking for an experienced HR Business Partner or Senior HR Business Partner ready to step up and lead a HR business partnering team. This is a busy role where you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of HR initiatives across the full employee experience. You will be both operational and strategic, customer-focused, exceptional at leading and managing teams, and act as a change agent to support the people and business strategy.
1. Work under the guidance of the HR Director to translate HR strategy into clear objectives that are aligned to the future needs and goals of the business.
2. Influence, coach and develop managers in the use of policies, procedures, HR frameworks, and employment legislation to ensure legal compliance, consistency, fairness, and equality in the workplace.
3. Provide and undertake operational HR support and procedures relating to a wide range of HR activities.
4. Provide a high-quality business partnering service and act as a trusted advisor whilst building credible stakeholder relationships.
5. Support the HR Director and managers with the effective management of people-related issues, including complex case management.
6. Actively support, facilitate, and contribute to wider HR business initiatives.
7. Support with Employee Engagement and Health & Wellbeing initiatives.
8. Review and develop best practices and HR service offerings and processes.
9. Support the development and embedding of new HR initiatives.
10. Provide statistical and management information, analysis, and trends that support business decisions.
11. Support the HR Director and work on HR projects appropriately.
12. Lead and develop the wider HR teams to provide and undertake HR business partnering and operational HR support.
Skills & Qualifications
1. Proven experience of working as a generalist HR Business Partner ideally gained within a fast-paced changing commercial environment.
2. Exceptional stakeholder management experience.
3. Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
4. Adept at navigating a changing and evolving environment.
5. Experience of managing projects in a growing environment, including employee engagement and health and wellbeing initiatives.
6. Excellent written, visualization, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex analytics and concepts into compelling narratives.
7. Proven experience of working as a Senior HR Business Partner ideally gained within a fast-paced changing commercial environment.
8. Experience of leading and managing a team.
