F/T Travel Co-Ordinator required for 1 year Maternity Cover Contract based in Banbridge. About the Role My client is seeking a Travel Co-Ordinator to join their dynamic Contracts Team based in Banbridge. This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments to plan and coordinate business travel arrangements efficiently. Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate cost-effective and efficient travel arrangements, including international and domestic flights, accommodation, car hire, dining, and other travel needs. Liaise with employees to determine travel requirements, provide options, and confirm bookings. Work closely with the talent acquisition team to arrange travel for interview candidates and new hires. Organise travel for client trips and maintain client satisfaction throughout the process. Arrange team-building activities as requested by various departments. Provide prompt responses to travel disruptions such as delays, cancellations, or last-minute changes, including outside normal working hours. Research travel options and present suitable choices for approval before booking. Prepare and distribute travel itineraries to employees to ensure all necessary documentation is in order. Escalate and obtain approval for travel requests exceeding budget limits. Assist travellers with obtaining passports and other necessary travel documents. Review monthly reports on awarded contracts to plan future travel schedules. Track and report on business travel expenses, including flight and accommodation costs. Obtain and review car hire photos to dispute any damage claims. Approve payments in the 4P system and allocate expenses to appropriate job codes. Negotiate corporate rates for hotels and ensure agreements are honoured. Monitor financial aspects of travel expenditures on company credit cards. Perform any other duties as required by management. Essential Criteria: Minimum of 6 months of experience in travel coordination, handling multiple travel arrangements in a business environment. Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above), including Maths and English, or equivalent. Proven ability to manage high volumes of travel arrangements effectively. Demonstrated experience in financial tracking and budget management. Ability to handle travel changes outside of normal working hours. Desirable Criteria: At least 12 months of experience in travel coordination, managing multiple travel arrangements simultaneously in a business environment.
