Duties Conduct credit checks on new customers Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email, and letter Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity Negotiate payment plans with customers Handle customer queries regarding outstanding invoices Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies Analyse financial data to identify credit risks Collaborate with the accounts payable team to resolve payment issues Experience The Successful Candidate Should Possess The Following Skills Experience in credit control or a similar financial role Proficiency in accounting software and data entry Strong phone etiquette and communication skills Knowledge of financial services and telemarketing techniques This is a permanent position offering a salary of £28,000-£30,000 and is fully office-based working for a small close-knit team.
