Key Details Category: Social Care Client: Walsall Council Location: Hybrid Office, fieldwork in Walsall & surrounding areas, remote working Contract Duration: 27/01/2025 - 18/04/2025 Working Hours: 37 hours per week 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Pay: £18.72/hr PAYE or £25.38/hr Umbrella IR35 Status: Inside IR35 Role Responsibilities Provide support to victims of crime, assess needs, and implement support plans. Facilitate face-to-face restorative justice meetings. Collaborate with case managers and attend panel meetings to provide updates on victim impact and risks. Ensure compliance with the Victim's Code of Practice 2020 and deliver high-quality restorative justice services. Support youth justice initiatives and intervention plans targeting reduced re-offending. Essential Requirements Qualifications: Relevant professional qualifications e.g., Criminology, Youth Justice, Social Work. A degree and willingness to complete additional certifications like the Youth Justice Effective Practice Certificate within 12 months are advantageous. Experience: Work with young offenders and victims; familiarity with youth justice services. Skills: Strong communication, restorative justice facilitation, risk assessment, and report writing.
