About The Role\nWe have a great opportunity at our Head Office in Nottingham for a Facilities Administrator in the Property department.\nYou will:\nBe the first point of contact for the reporting of all property concerns from our stores & Head Office\nFacilitate allocation and callouts with external contractors and our in-house maintenance engineers across areas including electrical, heating and Health & Safety matters\nAllocate and monitor jobs for our maintenance engineers and ensure that repairs are carried out in a timely manner and logged accurately\nEnsure all gas and electrical servicing is carried out on a timely basis and maintain accurate records and certification\nCommunicate regularly with the Facilities Manager, maintenance engineers and any other business stake holders as and when required\nWork closely with external contractors, such as alarm monitoring centres, waste management companies, decorators, signage contractors etc. to ensure that works are quoted and approved by the Facilities Manager\nUndertake departmental administration which will include obtaining quotes for approval, recording and monitoring purchase order allocation, processing invoices for payment and managing filing, ensuring documentation is stored correctlyWhat you’ll need - skills and experience:\n\nA strong and professional communicator able to receive and manage feedback from our stores, Head Office and external suppliers/contractors\nProficient in Microsoft Office / Excel\nGood planning and organisational skills showing attention to detail\nPro-active approach and willing to embrace new challenges\nProperty maintenance experience / knowledge preferable but not essential\n\nBenefits\nWhat you’ll get in return for your commitment:\n\nStaff Discounts\nHealthcare Cash plans\nA company pension scheme\nLife Cover\nAccess to the Retail Trust, our well-being platform - offering a 24-hour helpline for a variety of support services\nDiscounts on 100's of high street & online brands including restaurants, holidays, and shopping\nRole specific training and development\nProactive promotion of internal candidates\nPaid Breaks\nFree Tea & Coffee\n\nAbout The Company\nWhere you’ll be working:\nMachine Mart are the UK’s leading specialist retailer of workshop power tools and equipment to the general public and trade customers.
