Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Joinery Estimator / Sales Administrator on behalf of our client based in Clacton-On-Sea, on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be joining a growing business specialising in bespoke exterior joinery for commercial and residential clients. As part of the sales and estimation team, you will play a vital role in building successful relationships, assisting with detailed estimates, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Acting as the first point of contact for telephone and live web chat enquiries.
2. Managing assigned quotes, completing pricing and design to meet client satisfaction.
3. Providing outstanding customer service to convert enquiries into sales.
4. Following up on enquiries and offering product/design solutions.
5. Value engineering materials and/or construction to reduce costs and secure sales.
6. Proactively seeking new clients and opportunities.
7. Assisting Project Managers with pricing.
8. Attending internal meetings and providing feedback on potential sales.
9. Keeping drawing files and a custom project tracker updated.
10. Performing general administrative tasks.
Experience, Education & Qualifications
1. Previous sales/admin office experience.
2. Strong communication skills and excellent customer service.
3. Keen attention to detail.
4. CAD experience (preferred).
5. Positive attitude with aspirations for career development.
6. Team player with an interest in joinery and timber.
7. Appreciation for garden and landscape design.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
