Purpose of the role:
As an Assistant Production Planner, you will play a vital role in optimising production processes to meet customer demands efficiently. Reporting to the Production Planning & Material Control Manager, you will support various tasks, including creating and updating production planning reports, orders, stock and investigating anomalies in production data.
Assist in issuing and tracking production orders, ensuring that required material is supplied to the production floor according to the production schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Creating and updating the Production Plan reports
2. Action of new MRP recommended shop orders daily
3. Managing dates and enquiries for spares orders
4. Action of shortage and missing part anomalies on shop orders
5. Managing scrap transactions for shop orders
6. Following up on production chases and queries
7. Processing van stock count sheets
8. Processing scrap variance reports
9. Reserving and issuing of shop orders
10. Action of stores deposit notes
Skills/Experience:
1. Ability to use IFS (ERP system) or equivalent system.
2. Good product knowledge.
3. Ability to work under pressure and adhere to time restraints.
4. Experience of a similar role within a similar environment.
