An excellent opportunity has arisen to recruit a Community Psychiatric Nurse/Care Co-ordinator into our busy Community Mental Health Team for Later Life. The area covered by the post is South Later Life CMHT Manchester. We are looking for an experienced, committed and motivated professional to work with older people who are living with dementia or functional illnesses. We are a friendly and supportive team and encourage professional and personal development.

Experience
* Experience of working with older adults with mental health needs
* Experience of working in a Community setting
* Experience of working with service users with organic and functional illnesses
* Experience of supervising junior staff/students
Skills & Abilities
* Understanding of the role of Community Mental Health Teams.
* Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of relevant mental health legislation and issues.
Qualification
* Registered to practice/evidence of revalidation
