Guest Relations Manager – Lucent Glasgow
We have an exciting opportunity for a Guest Relations Manager to join the newly refurbished multi-functional office space Lucent in Glasgow.
Located on Bothwell Street, this role offers the opportunity to manage one of the most exclusive and unique buildings in the city centre.
Role
1. Manage and oversee all front of house services.
2. Provide a first-class reception experience to create a welcoming environment for Lucent occupiers and visitors.
3. Support day-to-day internal operating teams and manage in-house facilities.
4. Maintain a professional attitude and the ability to multi-task.
5. Maintain confidentiality when dealing with occupiers and guests.
6. Require 3-5 years of experience in a similar customer-facing role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure smooth operation of the building through expert communication skills in a front-of-house role.
2. Create an efficient, helpful, and friendly atmosphere for occupiers and visitors, maintaining high standards of excellence.
3. Oversee the access control system and facilitate access via the building app.
4. Manage visitor access for occupiers and contractors as needed.
5. Report faults or damage to fixtures and fittings to support building maintenance.
6. Manage deliveries and sign for packages when required.
7. Build a network of local contacts to provide high-quality recommendations.
8. Act as a first point of contact for queries and complaints, escalating to the Building Manager as necessary.
9. Handle lost property and locate missing items.
10. Coordinate with housekeeping, cleaning, maintenance, and security staff to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
11. Comply with Health & Safety standards, understanding fire evacuation and security procedures.
12. Support ESG factors to promote energy efficiency.
13. Manage in-house facilities including tenant lounge, meeting areas, AV studio, cycle storage, showers, and communal spaces, providing quality services.
14. Assist with event organization, setup, and promotion for occupiers.
15. Update the News, Events, and Marketplace sections of the app.
Knowledge of building management and experience in event organizing are desirable but not essential. Knowledge of local businesses and venues is also advantageous.
This is a full-time, on-site role, Monday to Friday.
