We're recruiting for a Domestic Cleaner to join our team on a full-time basis at the Whiteleaf Centre in Aylesbury.
You'll be responsible for cleaning and maintaining patient areas, public areas, back of house areas such as linen room and laundry areas, according to company policy and procedures at a level that meets or exceeds National Cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Carry out daily cleaning routines as scheduled.
2. Complete cleaning tasks as per rota.
3. Handle and remove waste in line with segregation processes and procedures.
4. Follow hygiene regulations.
5. Adhere to Health & Safety regulations.
6. Provide cover for colleagues during absences.
7. Ensure cleaning trolleys are fully stocked with sufficient cleaning materials and equipment.
8. Use cleaning materials as directed and secure them safely in compliance with COSHH regulations.
9. Observe proper procedures upon entering patient areas.
10. Ensure that all equipment used is fit for purpose and report any damaged or out of date PAT tested machinery.
11. Follow proper procedures when cleaning in patient areas.
12. Adhere to all policies and procedures relevant to the role.
13. Attend all mandatory training and task-specific training as required for the role.

Physical Requirements:
1. Push heavy carts.
2. Bend and reach to dust and clean.
3. Stand & walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods.
4. Use written communication skills to mark completed rooms on daily paperwork.
5. Lift all equipment and supplies on and off carts.
