Sales Account Manager | Mold, Flintshire | Full Time – Office based | 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday | £24,000 - £31,000 (OTE)
As our new Sales Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving the success of the business by building strong relationships with both existing customers and new prospects. Building strong communication and genuine connections with them will be central to your role.
We’re looking for someone with experience in Telesales or Sales Account Management who enjoys working with people and takes pride in creating lasting, meaningful connections. You’ll be responsible for growing your own customer base within a specific area of the UK, so there’s plenty of room to make the role your own.

Are you the right person for us?
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience within a sales environment, preferably in a proactive outbound business to business telesales role
Target driven with proven track record of achieving targets and KPI’s
Excellent telephone skills
Accomplished user of Excel, Outlook & CRM systems
High degree of accuracy
Demonstrated ability to prioritise issues
Background in a business-related role
Must be able to deal with technical product information
Ability to adapt procedures to a new and more effective way of working (in relation primarily to database management)
Ability to build strong working relationships (internal/external)
Strong, confident communication skills – verbal and written
Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation
What will your role as a Sales Account Manager look like?
Meet and exceed sales and profit targets as defined by Management
Make outbound calls and send emails to potential and existing customers to develop new business, understanding which products and services they use, offered by Total ID
Receive inbound calls and enquiries from new and existing customers, which will require preparing sales quotations, answering general enquiries and negotiating & processing purchase orders with suppliers
Manage a sales CRM database, ensuring all inbound and outbound activity is logged accurately, including contact details, quotes & sales orders, along with any diarised follow-up dates
Record sales and profit margin using CRM and Excel
Process sales orders and liaise with suppliers to negotiate and agree on costs & place orders
Understand and communicate up to date information on the products and services offered by Total ID, including forthcoming product and service developments
Help and support customers with any queries they may have, both pre and post sales, providing all-inclusive account management support
Listen to customer requirements and respond appropriately to make a sale
Gain a clear understanding of our customers' businesses and their requirements to be able to offer the best possible solutions
Upsell and cross-sell existing orders
Identify sales opportunities and leads
Make accurate cost calculations to provide customers with quotations, negotiating prices with new and existing customers to gain sales
Challenge any objections to persuade the customer to buy
Develop creative pitches and propositions aimed at specific industry sectors
Generate new business initiatives to identify and follow up on opportunities with new companies
In conjunction with the Marketing Dept, carry out research via the internet and any other methods to identify new markets and business opportunities, following up on mailers and social media posts
