Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an Administration Assistant to join our Architectural Practice’s Administration Team in Birmingham, on a part time basis.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
* Ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations in the studio
* Assisting the Office Manager with general office administration for all four of Bond Bryan’s offices
* Receptionist duties such as welcoming visitors, answering telephones and transferring enquiries, distributing post, and ensuring that the office is tidy and professionally presented at all times
* Assisting with day-to-day office operational issues e.g.
* Arranging plumbers, builders, cleaners etc.
* Monitor, order and maintain supplies of office stationery and other consumables
* Ensure adequate operation of office hardware such as photocopiers
* Assisting with organising functions such as company conferences and social events
* Organising various meetings timetables
* Booking travel arrangements and ticket purchase for trains, hire cars and taxis
KEY SKILLS FOR THE ROLE:
* Experience in a similar role is desired but not essential as complete training will be given
* Sound understanding of Microsoft Office software
* Professional telephone manner
* Willingness to develop existing and learn new skills
* Knowledge of using iMac computers desirable but not essential as training will be given
* Knowledge of InDesign is desirable but not essential as training will be given
