The ideal candidate will have a strong analytics background, with experience in credit risk strategy and the ability to work with senior stakeholders to shape critical credit decisions. THE ROLE As a Lead Credit Risk Analyst, you will take a leadership role in the development and execution of unsecured credit card strategies. Key responsibilities include: Lead the design of credit strategies for unsecured credit card products. Set risk appetite and ensure strategies align with business objectives. Monitor and analyse portfolio performance to identify areas for improvement. Work closely with senior stakeholders to gain buy-in and drive strategic initiatives. Utilise SAS/SQL for data analysis; transition to Python in 2024 to enhance analytical capabilities. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement abilities, and experience in unsecured credit strategies. Essential: 5 years of experience in credit risk strategy or financial services analytics. Proficiency in SAS and/or SQL.
