Role: Credit Controller
Location: Edinburgh City Centre

You will have responsibility for managing and maintaining a portfolio of accounts, ensuring outstanding debts are collected in a timely manner.

Our client is ideally looking for a confident individual who has proven Credit Control experience and has excellent experience in Microsoft Office who is looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to thrive within a high-profile role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily duties
o Negotiating payment arrangements with clients.
o Monitoring and reporting on overdue accounts to then escalate.
o Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding outstanding debts as per credit control policy.
o Phone and email clients to monitor responses through the system until the debt is resolved.
o Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
o Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment processing.
o Provide cover and support to colleagues.
o Resolving any client queries promptly.
Experience:
1. 5 years experience in Credit Control.
2. Excellent Excel skills.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Strong organisational skills.
