Cost Controller required for 12 months maternity cover based in Westhill. Previous cost control experience is essential as well as a background within the oil and gas industry. Oracle experience is beneficial, however other ERP system experience will suffice.
Main duties and responsibilities
* Establishing the first project budget/forecast based on handover bid from Sales Department.
* Updating changes to the forecast based on inputs from project management and other project team members as applicable.
* Responsible for monthly Project Management Report.
* Preparing monthly invoices to client and following up works.
* Following up reimbursable costs.
* Evaluating the economic impact of changes/variations in scope of work.
* Performing economical analysis, forecasts, deviations reports etc.
* Increasing other Departments’ awareness of the Cost Control function.
* Reviewing commitments.
* Assisting procurement on invoices from subcontractors/suppliers.
* Developing reporting requirements.
* Manpower forecasting.
* Vessel forecasting.
* Change Control (budget transfer/VO and changes to forecast).
* Cost sensitivities analysis.
