Thanks to a strong pipeline of work in the region, along with some exciting new opportunities with our clients, we are looking to appoint a Principal Wastewater Network Modeller to join us in Newcastle.
You'll become a key member of an interdisciplinary team made up of 110 personnel from Stantec, across 13 UK & Ireland offices and a team in Pune. This is a great opportunity to join an ambitious and innovative team of engineers, working on a specialist modelling framework whilst contributing to industry-leading projects. You will be based from our picturesque Quayside offices in Newcastle, with a hybrid working pattern available to help achieve a healthy work-life balance.
ABOUT YOU
You will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Geography, or other relevant subjects, and be a member of an industry-relevant institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM. You will have previous experience leading projects in an urban drainage environment and demonstrate technical experience covering a wide range of urban drainage modelling activities.
You'll lead staff development, ensuring project delivery excellence through effective planning, coordination, and technical governance. Therefore, strong communication skills, including report writing and presentations, are essential for building industry relationships.
