We are delighted to be recruiting for a Procurement Officer to join our forward thinking, motivated and well-respected team.
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council spends around £200 million per year buying in a diverse range of goods, works and services to deliver the ambitious plans we have for our borough and its residents.
This is a busy, varied and rewarding role that involves managing the tender, quote and contract management process with the aim of providing quality services and value for money.
We currently have over 500 live contracts where no two contracts are the same. You could be putting contracts in place for a home to school transport service for the children of the borough; procuring home care services for our elderly residents; or construction consultant services to support the Town Centres development programme.
