Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team working alongside our Head Chef. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with excellent leadership skills to supervise and manage kitchen staff. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the standards of our kitchen while ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
* Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
* Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked with necessary ingredients.
* Collaborate with the head chef to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Train and mentor junior staff in food production techniques and hospitality practices.
* Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, making adjustments as necessary.
* Assist in planning special events or catering services as required.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role.
* Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary presentation.
* Experience in supervising and managing teams.
* Knowledge of kitchen equipment and maintenance procedures.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Schedule
4 working days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday) 10 hour shifts, additional hours may be available to cover holidays. Some flexibility may be available for the right candidate.
