Due to significant growth, Belcan is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis, providing purchasing support within our Cheltenham office. Our Supply Chain Coordinators are crucial to ensuring that the purchasing function is managed to achieve agreed delivery, quality, and cost targets.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Negotiate and monitor contract progression throughout the supply chain.
* Source alternative supply options, new product opportunities, and savings.
* Conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers.
* Occasionally visit clients to build and maintain positive relationships.
* Support our Project Management and Engineering Management teams with quoting activities and forecasting for future projects.
Essential Experience and Skills:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong proficiency in MS Office and order/invoicing systems.
* Previous experience in buying/purchasing within the Electronics domain is advantageous.
* For graduates, a minimum 2:1 degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Procurement, or related subjects is required.
