JOB TITLE: Relocation Specialist REPORTS TO: Resident Relations Manager and/or Community Manager FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt POSITION SUMMARY: Relocation Specialist must maintain high-level professional communication skills and acts as an intermediary with management, residents and contractors. You will inform, support, provide assistance, and report information to help the residents understand the process, expectations and or difficulties. Also must be able to troubleshoot and resolves problems, travel if necessary to give assistance, and have excellent social and interpersonal skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel. Creates and maintains consistent communication channels both verbal and written between several parties (residents, management, and contractors). Monitoring and respond to emails/phone calls, and reporting information from contractor, management and residents. Complete intake in preparation of a full-service program Coordinate relocation for renovations (temporary and furniture moving within units) Work with residents during the renovation to make sure needs are being met Book hotels and transportation for residents who need to be temporarily relocated Making sure the start date of renovation is accurate. Ability to maintain clear and concise data regarding renovation timelines Must be able to update, create and maintain outlook calendars with all renovation timelines Required to send 120, 90, 60 and 30 day notices to residents prior to renovation starting. Have resident meetings prior to renovation to address any concerns or issues. Follow-up with residents to ensure packing has started at required intervals Ensure Guest Suites are prepared, inspected and ready for temporary occupancy SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Must be organized, detail oriented and have good time management skills Ability to work week-ends and evenings as needed Ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment Franklin Group is an Equal Opportunity Company.
