We are seeking an experienced Product Support Director EMEA to lead our Product Support Team and drive customer satisfaction in the region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the team's day-to-day activities, ensuring efficient scheduling of Sales & Applications Engineers, and providing assistance with complex technical inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop the Product Support Team to achieve customer satisfaction and revenue growth
* Coordinate Sales & Applications Engineers' schedules to ensure adequate phone, email, and chat coverage
* Collaborate with Solutions Engineers for technical issues and Regional Sales Managers for significant new opportunities
* Develop and implement strategies to improve sales process and customer journey with Edmund Optics
* Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report them to stakeholders
* Represent the company at tradeshows and conferences
Requirements:
* Degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or hard science
* Minimum of five years experience in technical sales and/or product support
* Proven leadership ability to manage people and teams
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
* Travel willingness (frequent visits to tradeshows and other sites)
