Job summary This is a full time substantive post within the Department of Frailty and Ageing Medicine. The timetable is flexible, and can be modified to reflect the special interests and expertise of the appointees. Applicants will support the Frailty bed base on the base wards. The successful consultant will have responsibility for up to 16 in patients on the frailty base ward. The wards are supported by a proactive MDT, Physician Associates, resident doctors of various grades and Registrar level Speciality Trainees. Main duties of the job We would especially welcome subspecialty interests in Orthogeriatrics or Parkinson's and Related Disorders. Other sub speciality interests will be also be considered and the department will look at options of providing speciality cover through a departmental job plan if a strong candidate has an interest in other areas which fits into the Frailty strategic vision for the Trust.
