Welcome to FCMS!
We are looking for an individual to provide a high-quality reception service to patients and staff at the Fleetwood Urgent Treatment Centre.
Hours: Flexible hours to meet the needs ofthe organisation. The service operates 7 days per week/ 365 days per year.
The service starts at each day andcloses at each evening
Pay: £ per hour. We provide enhancements for Saturdays/Sundays andBank Holidays

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work in the urgent care setting supporting theteam by fulfilling the agreed tasks.
The key duties include:
1. Operating the reception
2. Being thefirst point of contact for patients, visitors and enquiries
3. Booking patients into Fleetwood UrgentTreatment Centre, Wound Care and the GP Extended Access service
4. Completing a non-clinical triagewith patients
5. Answering the phone
6. Undertaking day to day administration tasks.
The post holder willaccept the responsibility for aspiring to achieve, share a corporate pride in achievements andstrive to act as an ambassador for good quality.
The post holder will also havean element of floor walking to assist patients using the self-check in IPADassessments.

The post holder will
7. Bethe first point of contact for patients, visitors and enquiries
8. Meet,greet and complete a non-clinical triage with all self-presenting patients
9. Bookpatients into the Adastra and EMIS system
10. Utilisethe appointment diaries via Adastra, EMIS and HISS
11. Liaisewith a range of health care professionals both internal and external
12. Recordinformation on IT systems, spreadsheets, paper records
13. Telephoneanswering, faxing, photocopying, scanning
14. Inputtingdata onto the computer systems, setting up computer diaries
15. Updaterecords
16. Maintaina clean and confidential reception desk
17. Adhereto policies and procedures of the company and keep up to date with any changes
Educational
18. Tofollow safe working practices and to comply at all times with local SafetyPolicies and Procedures
19. Toensure confidentiality on all matters relating to patients and informationobtained during thecourse of employment and not to release such information to anyone other thanthose actingin an official capacity as instructed
20. Maintaingood relationships with other members of the staff team across all disciplines
21. Contributeto the identification of own training needs and participate in relevantin-service

The post holder will be expected to attend anynecessary courses that provide relevant training.
